Every month Messina Hof hosts a Cooking Party, a demonstration focusing on a specific cuisine or technique. If you're a beginner, we've got you covered with beginner lessons and if you're already quite the chef you'll appreciate the huge selection of information on spices, cuts of meat, tools and more. Each guest will receive a recipe booklet to take home AND will have a chance to register to win awesome culinary door prizes.
DECEMBER COOKING PARTY: SWEET AND SAVORY
This month we will be demonstrating the differences in sweet and savory dishes and how combining these two works with your palate. Messina Hof wine will be featured in the dish as always.
Brie Brulee Creamy French brie dusted with sugar and torched to a crisp, topped with an Orange Muscat and cranberry compote and toasted Royalty Farms pecans.
Honey Garlic Filet Minion Texas center cut filet of beef, marinated with local honey, Moscato, roasted garlic and fresh herbs. Chargrilled and served with a caramelized onion risotto and charred broccolini.
Bacon Bourbon Pecan Pie Bacon and bourbon pecan pie served with an Angel caramel sauce and fresh whipped cream.
Attend 12 cooking parties and you'll also receive an official Messina Hof Chef's Coat.
