Texas Artist Wine Label Competition
Compete and vote for the artwork that will become a new Messina Hof wine label in the Texas Artist Wine Label Competition!
Each entry fee is donated to the Arts Council of Brazos Valley to fund local programs that further young artists’ passion and careers.
Every year artists from all over the state compete to have their artwork featured on a Messina Hof label. Voting will take place Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28, in the Estate Barrel House.

How much are tickets?
Admission to the festival is free. Ticket packages are available online, there is limited availability, so get them before they’re gone! Additional tickets can be purchased at the festival. Tickets can be used for wine tastings, festival events, food vendors, and more.
Is there parking available at the festival?
Yes, there are two lots available for parking. All parking on Saturday is $5. Handicap parking will be available in the main lot. There is no parking along the road in front of the winery. Carpooling or using a ride-share service is highly encouraged.
What should I wear to Wine & Roses?
Wine & Roses is an outdoor festival, so dress casual and comfortable. Also, be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen!
Are children and adults under 21 allowed to attend?
Yes! There will be activities that can be enjoyed by all. There will be painting on canvases and face painting. There will also be vendors with more fun things for kids! Soda, water, and sparkling grape juice will be available. Please make sure all children are accompanied by an adult.
How many people can be on a Grape Stomp team?
Each team can be 2-4 members. To register and pay the $50 fee go here.
Will beer or liquor be available?
Messina Hof is a bonded winery, so there will be no beer or liquor available for purchase or consumption and no outside drinks will be permitted.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes, Messina Hof accepts all major credit cards.
Am I allowed to bring my own lawn chairs or picnic blankets?
Yes, we encourage guests to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets! We just ask that you do not bring your own tent.
Is this event at other Messina Hof locations?
No, Wine & Roses Festival is only held at the Messina Hof Bryan location.
Can I bring my dog?
Of course! We welcome all four-legged friends as long as they remain on a leash.
