The Texas wine industry is huge and continuing to grow rapidly, yet many people still believe that French wine is of better quality.  The truth is that Texas wines are better! 

The same grapes that grow in France will grow in Texas.  The differences are in the terroir (the land and climate where the grapes are grown) and the winemaker’s style. 

Texas had great sunshine, which means that Texas wines are bigger, bolder, and have more flavor than French wines.  Also, the consistent Texas weather leads to more consistent vintages year after year.
