Tribute Series: A Tribute to Our Roots 

The Tribute Series has long celebrated the Bonarrigo family’s Italian roots, and the new label designs deepen that connection. Each label now features a stunning stained-glass motif in vibrant jewel tones, inspired by the antique stained glass at Messina Hof Estate Winery in Bryan. Our Tribute Series wines include: 

• Gewürztraminer – Tribute to Memories 
• Riesling – Tribute to Heritage 
• Moscato – Tribute to Innocence 
• Mama Rosa Rose – Tribute to Motherhood, in honor of the original Bonarrigo matriarch 
• Beau – Tribute to Beauty 
• Sangria – Tribute to Celebration 

These unique designs replicate pieces hand-selected by the Messina Hof founders over the years. The artistic details reflect the same passion and care poured into our winemaking, aiming to bring joy to all who experience Messina Hof wines. While the Tribute Series continues to honor specific tributes on each label, the refreshed design more intentionally connects each varietal to Messina Hof’s rich history and values. 

Barrel & Dry Cuvee: Tradition Meets Innovation 

For our Barrel & Dry Cuvee wines, the new designs merge the essence of rustic Texas winemaking with modern elegance. The redesigned labels showcase the historic wooden doors of Messina Hof’s Villa Bed & Breakfast in Bryan, built on the site of the original winery in 1977. The intricate carvings on the doors symbolize a warm invitation to the winery and reflect the Messina Hof family’s hospitality.  

These wines are a cornerstone of Messina Hof’s portfolio, crafted in a traditional style from classic varietals. Our Barrel Cuvee collection offers bold, dry reds such as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Black Label Blend, while our Dry Cuvee collection features crisp, dry whites like Pinot Grigio and Unoaked Chardonnay.
