Port Wines

Port is a great pairing for Cajun and Creole foods. 

Some people think it is too sweet, but we have customers who drink it with everything. The flavor weight of port balances the dark roux plus the sweetness complements the bold spices in the food. Of course Messina Hof Papa Paulo Port has that natural chocolate cherry character which is perfect for the chocolate character of dark roux. 

Port sauce is easy. Just take the Espagnole sauce and mix it with our port wine to taste.
