Join us the first four weekends in August for family-friendly fun at our Estate winery in Bryan, and the last weekend of August at Messina Hof Hill Country in Fredericksburg!
Each year, we are excited to celebrate the Messina Hof Annual Harvest Festival! This is our favorite opportunity to connect with our friends, family, and Texas wine lovers, so we invite you to have a hand in our history every weekend in August. Harvest Festival is a fun-filled time for the entire family as we honor the harvest tradition of picking and stomping the very grapes that go into making Messina Hof’s award-winning Ports. We offer a range of daytime and evening events, complete with their own unique attractions.
Immerse yourself in moonlight and wine as you pick and stomp the grapes that go into our award-winning Ports at our Estate vineyard.
You will receive a souvenir “Harvest Crew” t-shirt signed with your own purple footprints!

Experience a special Harvest tour & tasting of the Messina Hof Estate this August. Take an in-depth look at how our wines go from vine to glass. Get your hands a little dirty in a winemaking punch down experience. Learn proper tasting techniques using wines that come straight from the barrel! Cellar Tour & Dinner
Saturday, August 3rd
Sip a glass of Sparkling wine as Messina Hof winemaker, Paul Bonarrigo leads you around the winery while hearing the history of the Bonarrigo Family and Messina Hof. You will be introduced to the entire winemaking process and have the opportunity to taste wine directly from the tanks and barrels!
After the tour, enjoy a 3-course dinner paired with award-winning Messina Hof wine in our candlelit Cellar Room.

Trailer Park Tragedy
Friday, August 9th
Well known in the community and by law enforcement agencies for its after-hours fights, double-crossings, and illegal happenings, this trailer park’s BBQ is a recipe for disaster. However, with free food and booze on the menu, the impolite, illiterate, and intoxicated residents are sure to be there – hair curlers and all!
This fun trailer park-themed murder mystery and wine dinner features 3 courses paired with wine. Costumes encouraged!

Grand Finale Gala

This elegant evening raises a toast to a successful Harvest Festival at Messina Hof Estate Winery. Our Winemaker will introduce each wine and walk you through the exquisite food pairings provided by our Vintage House Chef. Guests will also have the privilege of having the “first-taste” of new release wines. We will officially unveil the winning artwork from our Texas Artist Wine Label Competition that was voted on at our Wine & Roses Festival earlier in the year.
This year’s theme is, “The Grape of it All”, featuring different shades of purple. Cocktail attire is encouraged.
